​Morning Announcements: Tuesday, February 11, 2020

Today is Safer Internet Day. The purpose of this day is to explore the many positive uses of technology and to discover the role we all play in helping to create better and safer online communities. Please take a few minutes to look at the bulletin board on the way down the stairs. Spend some time today thinking about the many positive ways we can use the internet.

This week is Valentine’s week. We will be selling candy grams at lunch on Tues, Wed., & Thurs. this week for .25cents.

The senior Resource Center is looking for student volunteers to help serve dessert at their Valentine dinner on Friday evening. If you are interested in volunteering, please see Mrs. MacKay today in the Tech Lab.

Geraghty – Cafeteria Duty

If you are looking for a quiet place to eat lunch and you like to hear stories, come to the conference room across from the library from 12:00 to 12:20.  We are calling it the Readery, and the first novel read by our library volunteers and worker will be Stranded.  The Stranded series was written by the host of Survivor, Jeff Probst.  Guess what?  The story is about survival when stranded.  Join us at noon in the Conference Room.  Bring your lunch and quiet listening skills.

Athletics Announcements - Tue, Feb 11

⁃ The JV GIRLS Basketball team play in the District Tier 1 Semi-Finals today at Sussex middle. Good luck girls!
⁃ Also, today, our JV boys will be taking on Belleisle in the Tier 2 Semi-Final. Game time is 4 PM at Belleisle. Good luck boys!
⁃ The Varsity BOYS basketball team practice today, after school until 4:30PM.
⁃ In the gym, 2nd half, will be Basketball shooting on one side and a game of Basketball on the other.
